I hope you are ok. Good to hear that you at least have no broken bones and were able to go home from the ER. Rest up. I hope you feel better soon

ms.conduct

Oh crap! I'm so glad you're not injured worse! Healing, vicodin vibes headed your way... take care of yourself.

RBR

Oh my God! Thank God you are not dead or paralyzed. Thank God you were able to go home tonight. I can't imagine how terrifying it must have been. I am so glad you had friends there to help and take care of you. Take care of yourself and get some rest.

I know you have to be spooked, but I also know that when you are well, you will get back on the bike because you are Jane and you are amazing. You also have lots cycling buddies that will help you ease back into it.

Take care of yourself!

pinkgurugal

sweety i wish i was there to help you out. will be back at the end of the week. hang in there. you have lots of people who care about you and will see you through this.

Aimee

Jane-that's a scary, horrible thing to happen and I'm so sorry to hear that happened. Take care of your physical wounds and then tend to the mental ones to overcome any demons to get back on the bike. You love it too much and it means too much to just let it get set aside. No car accident should win to take away something that means so much to you. Hang in there.

IM Able

Hang in there, Jane. I hope you heal quickly and can move beyond this soon. For now, just think of rest and recovery.

Mike

Holp cr@p!!! glad your not completely down and out!! I hate to hear about this, its scares me big time.

On the down low.. I have some low-life friends that do things the old fashion way. With baseball bats and lead pipes, you know what I mean, breaking knees, fingers, whatever it takes. Just let me know if I need to make the call.. wink wink.. the less you know about it the better...

Hey really, who did you piss off?? first the dog bite, now hit by a car.. Do you know Marie Lavoe???

Get better...

sam

Damn, I hate to read this stuff. I wish you a quick and painless recovery.

Sounds bad, but it also sounds like it could have been worse. In fact the worst part may actually be getting on the bike again. Get out there as soon as you can! Face the fear. Watch TopGun! ;-)

My Photo

Who Am I?

  • Photo of me in 2003. Around 215? yeah, that's big when you're 4' 11" I'm a psychiatrist in Austin. I never really exercised before. Then I decided I didn't want to be 30 years old with high blood pressure, hyperlidemia and diabetes (yes, I had all three.) In May of 2007 I couldn't run for more than 1 minute! Now I do triathlons - they are fun!
