Jane likes gross food. And has nothing to do with triathlon.
I am craving all sorts of food right now. Instead of giving in, I will just think about it and write a blog post about it and this will probably satisfy me. Warning, may either disgust you or offend you, especially if you are a vegetarian.
Foie gras: I know, very cruel on how it's obtained, but I can't get enough of this stuff. Rich, buttery with a very slight liver taste. It's probably all fat. Luckily I only eat it if I eat out at a very fancy restaurant.
Uni, or sea urchin which is served in sushi restaurants. Actually tastes somewhat like foie gras. Whenever I get this, my friend shouts "those are their gonads!" Which they are. Buttery as well. Goes very well with rice.
Okay, not so strange, but I know horribly bad for you. I will go on "bacon binges" about twice a year where I will only eat bacon for about 2 days. Mmmm, bacon, bacon, bacon. It's why I have a bacon wallet.
Black pudding, which is sausage made predominantly of blood. In France, they call it "boudin noir" - so nice sounding. Yes, blood, pig's blood - like the stuff they dumped over Carrie in movie of same name. Learned to like this while in England.
Pate': I eat this, well not regularly, but since you can get it in most grocery stores, I will have this more often than not. Mmmm, liver. I just love liver, but especially mushed up liver with cream and various spices. I could be like Hannibal Lector and eat human liver.
Gomtang - this is a Korean dish that is comfort food. It is a tripe and intestine soup. Hot and greasy. Full of gelatinous goodness. I like tripe. There is a Mexican dish called menudo made of tripe which I like quite a bit as well.
So now I feel better, don't you? Or do you want to vomit. But it worked, and I don't have the cravings anymore. I am happy with my snow peas and satsumas.

Yum, Yum, Yum, Not so Yum, Yum, Yum.

More for you, sugar! Except the bacon. I will eat bacon with you. In fact, if you get up and go to the bathroom while we're eating bacon, I'll steal your bacon and eat that, too. So, you know, take your bacon with you.
