Great pics!! I have the same issues with captions and the like. Oh to have been a computer geek instead of an artist.

Jane, thanks for your comment on my blog. Good job on your triathlon. To answer your question regarding SPD vs. Look pedals -- I went with Look Keos: http://givingitatri.blogspot.com/2007/05/new-look-keo-sprint-pedals.html
The're light, easy to get into and have a wide contact area. Good luck. BTW, what espresso machine do you have? I have a Pasquini Livia 90. It cost a little less than my bike.
