Setting up the bike.
Me and my bro, the violinist - he never wakes up this early.
My transition setup
The transition area. Lots o' bikes.
Getting my bike.
Running to the finish line!
Pretending to be tired afterwards.
No swimming pictures, unfortunately (I did swim! it wasn't a duathlon!)
Argh- I don't know why these photos are so wonky. You people are smart and can figure out which captions goes with what pic. It's high school yearbook all over again...

Great pics!! I have the same issues with captions and the like. Oh to have been a computer geek instead of an artist.

Yes, O'dark thirty is not typical musician time. Way to make him roll out to see your event.

Jane, thanks for your comment on my blog. Good job on your triathlon. To answer your question regarding SPD vs. Look pedals -- I went with Look Keos: http://givingitatri.blogspot.com/2007/05/new-look-keo-sprint-pedals.html
The're light, easy to get into and have a wide contact area. Good luck. BTW, what espresso machine do you have? I have a Pasquini Livia 90. It cost a little less than my bike.
